We can’t say enough about how well the work went and how perfect the result was at the end. The work started right on time as scheduled and was completed promptly, without being rushed. The quality of the work was not sacrificed to save time. We were particularly impressed with ACTIV’s crew of employees who did all the necessary removal of old stock, prepared soil, planted, fertilized and did the final mulching. It was clear to us that they took a lot of pride in their work and were very careful and conscientious, particularly in making sure every tree and shrub was planted in a sufficiently large hole with plenty of fresh top soil. They went above and beyond what anyone would normally expect. The stock of trees and shrubs and sod selected by ACTIV was really superb. The flowering trees and shrubs are already flowering after only a few weeks. And the new grass sod and evergreen trees are flourishing. Altogether, the finished result is not just an improvement but really beautiful. We are more than pleased. Our neighbors and visitors have all admired the new appearance. In closing, we want to mention two other things. First, the cost was very fair and reasonable and certainly well worth the value and quality of the work. Second, we enjoyed working with everyone we met from ACTIV and greatly appreciate the prompt response and follow-up to all our questions and the careful coordination and supervision of the whole project. Under your supervision and conscientious attention to detail, we now have two beautifully designed expansive garden beds containing over one hundred shrubs, flowering plants, ornamental trees, and bushes accented by a sculpted immaculate lawn separated by over one hundred feet of custom installed stone wall. The French drain and topsoil you installed raised our front lawn, accented the two distinct garden beds, and eliminated our “swamp”.
